Position: User Experience Designer
Technical Skills:
• 2-3 years experience with heuristic evaluations, information architecture design, creating mock UI, usability testing, UI design, and web standards development.
• Knowledge on localization, and globalization of products.
• Hands on experience with addressing usability throughout the product development lifecycle
• Experience working with different roles of product development teams
• Experience working with creative people to come up experiential designs
• Experience presenting designs to clients and internal stakeholders
• Experience with web2.0, social networking, online media, online travel, and online retail
• Knowledge of web technologies
• Hands on experience with prototyping tools (Axure, Visio, MS Excel)
• Certifications in usability or design degrees from IDC/NID or HCI degrees from US, UK, & Australia
Soft Skills:
• Both high level and detailed level thinking required
• Ability to manage multiple projects together
• Work in a flexible and fast paced environment
• Clear and crisp communication
• Good presentation skills
• Experience handling both Indian and non-Indian clients on product usability
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Developing high level and/or detailed mock-ups, prototypes, and information architecture models to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
• Gauging the usability of new and existing products and make constructive suggestions for change.
• Run usability testing on products and iterate designs
• Making practical recommendations based on usability data, business needs, and technical feasibility.
• Create interaction standards and promote reusability of tried & tested designs
• Defining site architecture and navigation that serves as a blueprint of products being built.
• Define metrics and manage usability
• Shape best practices to ensure usable and accessible product design
• Educate and train other team members on usability
• Contribute to internal process development and usability consulting practice

Mastiff has proudly launched its open social application “Blood Search” on Orkut.
Blood Search (link to application)
Blood Search is a unique application on Orkut to enables users to search blood in their friend list. The concept is not to give an area wise search of users who are willing to donate, but dig in your friends network so that there is an assurance that you will get it when asked.
Many people have been requesting us to open up search across cities. But we are not enabling that feature as it is not the core idea behind the application.
